Curriculum Overview

The core curriculum meets all statutory requirements based on AiAA and COGNIA accreditation boards requirements and the Common Core curriculum/NGSS of the USA — specifically the Engage New York Curriculum. The school day is organized into 8 × 50-minute periods, and is well supported by extra-curricular provision and enrichment activities including educational visits.

The curriculum is organized to build on students’ previous learning and to inform planning and teaching.

Homework

Weekly homework is uploaded to orison.school platform, where students are given time to complete it. Homework contributes to students’ credit hours and GPA, so parents must ensure all homework is completed. Please contact the subject teacher if your child has any issues regarding homework.
